Souper Bowl of Caring:

Souper Bowl_2012_41

On Souper Bowl Sunday the youth collect canned food and a dollar from each member. After worship a pot-luck soup luncheon is held and left-over soup is frozen to share with those in need. The Souper Bowl of Caring is a nationwide, youth-led  effort to feed the hungry on a local level. Groups register the amount collected and a national tally of funds and food is totaled. Last year over 5 million dollars was distributed to charities. The Souper Bowl of Caring proves how little things can add up.

Milford Soup Kitchen:

Every monday night, working with the Church of the Nazarene we host the homeless and needy families. It is very well attended. Several of our congregation members prepare and serve food plus clean up afterwoods.
